Laser Eye Surgery الليزر جراحة العين

Laser eye (excimer laser) surgery is a treatment to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism.  Laser eye surgery was first performed to correct near-sightedness in Germany in 1988.  The Food and Drug Administration first approved the excimer laser in October 1995 for correcting mild to moderate nearsightedness.  The surgeon uses a knife called a microkeratome to cut a flap of corneal tissue, removes the targeted tissue beneath it with the laser, and then replaces the flap.  At present, a number of other lasers for eye surgery are currently being tested in FDA-sanctioned studies to determine their safety and effectiveness.  Some patients may still need glasses or contact lenses following laser vision correction, though their prescription level will be much lower than before. الليزر العين (excimer الليزر) هي العلاج والجراحه لتصحيح قصر النظر ، حلم او الاستجماتيزم. الليزر جراحة العين كان أول أداء لتصحيح الرءيه القريبه فى المانيا فى عام 1988. ادارة الاغذيه والعقاقير وافق أول excimer الليزر في تشرين الاول / اكتوبر 1995 لتصحيح معتدل الى معتدل قصر النظر. الجراح يستخدم سكين يسمى microkeratome لقطع أ دحرج من انسجه القرنيه ، ويزيل المستهدفة الانسجه الموجودة تحتها انها مع الليزر ، وعندئذ يحل محل دحرج. وفى الوقت الحاضر ، وعدد آخر من الليزر جراحة العين ليجري حاليا اختبار في هيئة تقره الدراسات لتحديد فعالية وسلامتهم. بعض المرضى قد لا تزال بحاجة الى نظارات طبية أو عدسات لاصقه بعد بالليزر رؤية التصحيح ، وان كانت الوصفه المستوى ستكون اقل بكثير من ذي قبل.
